For the 16th time, the Innebandymagazinet awards the prize to the world's best players together with national team coaches and media around the world. Two weeks ago, the Czech Eliška Krupnová received the award on the women's side. Today, the Kalmarsund player received the award.
- I have worked really hard for this and I leave nothing to chance. I am meticulous in every detail that is important to perform my utmost. I have a lot to prove every time I go into a new match but a price like this makes my driving force even stronger to stay on top.
32-year-old Kim Nilsson receives the award for an exceptionally good 2020 where he was a contributing factor to FBC Kalmarsund's path to the top of SSL. His team is currently at the top of SSL and he is the scoring leader.
- The secret is simple why 2020 has been such a good year for me and the team. I think floorball is still as fun as when I was younger. We have managed to create a wonderful group that works hard for each other and that I enjoy meeting every day at training or matches.
